About Earl Boykins
Earl Boykins, where it all began, a Student, Athlete, Business Owner, Executive Director of a Non-Profit, Head Coach and Leadership Expert.
High School and College:
Earl was as a standout Prep player at Cleveland Central Catholic High School (1994) and went on to star at Eastern Michigan University from 1994-1998. During his senior season, Earl was the 2nd leading scorer in the nation (NCAA DI) averaging 26.8 points per game. On February 27, 2011, his number 11 jersey was retired and raised to the rafters at EMU.
Coach Boykins went on to play 14 seasons in the NBA, 4 with the Denver Nuggets where he averaged 8.9 points and 3.2 assists per game.
Business and Non-Profit:
Earl is the founder of Boykins Basketball Academy and his Non-Profit Boykins Kids Incorporated. Both programs continue to be successful along the Colorado Front Range because of the great families and Fundraising events that are involved in the program.
Earl is entering his Fifth year as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Douglas County High in Castle Rock Colorado.
Earl has also started doing speaking events as a Leadership expert. Teaching individuals how to develop proper leadership skills to lead teams, organizations and companies that foster growth, commitment, and mental toughness not just to be great but, to be greater.
